A client had a beautiful shore home and had done beautiful forged aluminum deck railings. They had a gorgeous pool area between the house and sea wall. They wanted to preserve the panoramic views but have the safety of a railing on the sea wall. So glass was the material of choice, but again safety was a concern. So we utilized tempered and laminated glass and for the sake of keeping the glass clean, both sides of glass were coated with shower-guard, for ease of cleaning.
We used structural aluminum railing elements that tied in with their deck railing, stainless steel clips that were powder coated same sheen of statuary bronze. The end product was a beautiful, transparent safety barrier that allows awesome views of the beach while relaxing beside the pool.
