How big do you like your Whoopie Pies?

This past Saturday, at a benefit auction for the clinic for special children, we bought a “3 ft” whoopie pie! At 3″ thick, it was the biggest Shady Maple could make!

What is more Lancaster County than a whoopie pie? And such a whopper! That Saturday the Compass Team was not concerned about creating Iron Railings, driveway gates or property fence, but were excited about the possibility of raising money for this great cause and having a huge whoopie pie to eat! We were the winning bidder…

We had a party on Monday eve. of approx. 60 people and about an eighth of the whoopie pie was eaten meaning that it would have been sufficient for a part of over 400 people! So for the next few weeks, we’ll have plenty of whoopie pie to go around!
