A couple was building a shore getaway for their family in the Loveladies, NJ. They were building a beautiful pool area for the entire family to hangout , relax, and enjoy each other’s company.
As part of the code requirements, a pool fence was needed. They wanted a maintenance free sturdy pool fence. Another part of the objective was to design the custom pool fence in such a way that seagulls could not perch on it and create a mess with their poop all over the place. This was done with forging the top of the solid aircraft grade aluminum picket of the aluminum fence to protrude 7 – 8″ up past the top bar, and to a point, to further deter a seagulls ability to perch between the pickets. The pool gate was also designed to deter the seagulls ability to perch.
The entire pool fence was given a special blasting, per-treatment, prime, and powder-coat process to be able to withstand the harsh salt air environment at the shore. So this seagull resistant pool fence will be rigid and beautiful for many years, providing a perimeter for this NJ family’s private haven, for many years.
