A Philadelphia Mainline Architect was designing a renovation and addition for a classic property. As part of the property upgrade, the client wanted a front gate that emphasized the character of the property and provided privacy and controlled access. As part of the package, they wanted a custom driveway gate design with the automatic gate openers.
The client and design team agreed that a simulated wood gate, built in aircraft grade aluminum would provide authenticity and long term value. And with the faux wrought Iron strap hinges, the gates were stunning, and completely maintenance free.
Our “Million Dollar”, Heavy duty driveway gate hinge was utilized for minimum maintenance, hassle and downtime, to provide the best in client value. The automatic gate openers were provided with the ability to handle 1750 lb gates. And with the gate openers being underground they provided better automation features plus great aesthetics as there were no unsightly arms on the driveway gates. And the entire keypad and access control system was installed utilizing the latest in wireless communication, link into their smart home communication platform. Complete with a custom terrace railing and stair railing, this property in southeastern PA has architectural aspirations that both inspire and protect.
