Refurbishing a beautiful railing with history behind it

In the early 1900’s, a Dupont heir built an exquisite estate outside of Wilmington DE. The original couple had past away and for the last few decades their heirs left it maintain itself. There was original ironwork on the back of the property installed into flagstone. The holes in the flagstone were not round as if they were drilled, but instead square as if chiseled by hand. What was once beautiful original ironwork, was broken apart as trees fell on it and the elements took their toll on the property.

We were commissioned to restore over 500 ft of beautiful Iron and matching the original components and giving it a new lease on life with a “new” old looking texture powder-coat. Stay tuned as we complete this beautiful project.
